This lake is so wonderful. Near Crockenburg Pond you come across the Boundary Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and camping at Countryside Family Campground is always a glorious experience. If you came to camp Cherry Ridge Campground is a perfect site to do that, and Reining Dam is delightful. Going for a hike on the White Deer Trail is always a brilliant       adventure; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Tanglwood. At Crockenburg Pond through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Crockenburg Pond tend to be in the 0's. Be careful coming to Crockenburg Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again.
