All through the long summer days at Creveling Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Creveling Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kitchen Creek, and if you came       for an overnight stay Red Rock Mountain Campground is a tremendous site to camp. Any time is a pleasant time at Creveling Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Opperman Pass is a delightful location to spend some time at, and Good's Campground is a great campground here. Cherry Ridge Run is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail. Why not visit Creveling Lake Dam since you're                  here, and if you've had enough of Creveling Lake, Lake John is nearby. Whitewater paddling is good on Loyalsock Creek; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Irish Settlement Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Young's Country Inn is a great place to get some rest. If you need a place to stay Central Park Hotel is a wonderful choice, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Pole Bridge Trail.
