Cresson Lake is a good spot of normal rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cresson Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Bradley Run, and float down the rapids of Chest Creek in a kayak. All through the days of summer highs here at Cresson Lake reach the 80's
with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cresson Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ebensburg is a good
site to spend a night or two, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Blue Knob.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Cresson Lake, you can go for a hike along the John P Saylor Trail, and the nice people of Johnstown like to hang out nearby.
