If you are in Pike county it's always a good idea to stop by Crescent Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Raymondskill Creek, and if you need a place to stay Myer Motel is a good choice. Good hiking is available along the Bald Hill Trail, and why not head up to Shawnee Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Crescent Lake gets a normal amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.

| | the summertime here at Crescent Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Crescent Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. A splendid close by hotel is Sherelyn Motel; hiking is a popular thing to do around Crescent Lake; Maple Brook Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. | |

There's whitewater on Hornbeck's Creek for all you thrill seekers, and a magnificent swamp close to Crescent Lake is Dark Swamp.
You could also have a look at Adams Brook Reservoir while you're here at Crescent Lake; it's close
by; swing by Bear Brook it's a magnificent place to pop by. Just can't get enough of Crescent Lake. Crescent Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dingmans Campground is a great local campground, and the scenery at Cresent
Lake Dam is wonderful. So much entertaining stuff to do at Crescent Lake, so little time. A day on the slopes of Tanglwood is just what you need.
A journey to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile. There's so much to do
here at Crescent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Beach Campsites is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. On a lovely day you get a sight of Round Hill from Crescent Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Flat Ridge Trail.
