Go to Cranberry Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Cranberry Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. People from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre love to come to Cranberry Pond, and camping is available at Council Cup Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DRUMS-HAZELTON (I-80) is a great spot to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Kielar Lake is close

Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cranberry Pond. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Cranberry Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Cranberry Pond has to offer. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club, and don't forget to take a glorious little tour to Middle Branch Newport | |

Creek. Keilar Lake is a delightful lake in the vicinity of Cranberry Pond, and a delightful site to camp here at Cranberry Pond is Moyers Grove Campground and RV.
This lake is so wonderful. From Cranberry Pond you get a brilliant
panorama of Little Wilkes-Barre Mountain. Keilar Dam has glorious water scenery and it's next to Cranberry Pond, and there are some great whitewater spots on Wapwallopen Creek. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Drums is a great choice, and do take a hike on the Old Bulldozer Road Trail.
