This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Walnut Creek. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Harbor Turning Basin; Avalon Hotel is a tremendous spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Cranberry Pond, for example Horseshoe Pond; there are plenty of folks from Erie here at Cranberry Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elk Creek,       and naturally West Branch Cascade Creek flows through this area. At Cranberry Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Cranberry Pond during the winter regularly descend into the 10's. Don't leave Cranberry Pond without first checking out Big Bend, and Lampe Marina Campground is a great local campground.                  But wait, there's more to do near Cranberry Pond. For you golfers we recommend close by Joseph Martin Golf Club, and taking a little visit to nearby Crystal Point is a fine idea. Cranberry Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September, and January is the month with the least moisture.
