Go to Covey Swamp if you want to go to a nice lake. There are tremendous spots to explore along the Refuge Trail, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Scranton is a tremendous choice. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Scranton; Covey Swamp is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Highland Camp Ground is a perfect site to camp nearby. Through the long summer days here at Covey Swamp, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's
while Covey Swamp night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Going for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail is always a great adventure; Covey Swamp is a swamp near Covey Swamp. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors
cool things the area in the vicinity of Covey Swamp has to offer. Go for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Jack Frost is a great local ski area; whitewater paddling is great on Spring Brook. The high
level of rainfall makes Covey Swamp a reasonably wet spot; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
