County Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to County Reservoir. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for County Reservoir. Don't leave County Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Brant Trail, and there's magnificent hiking along the Wolf Rocks Trail. | | is a fine choice; Immel Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Near County Reservoir you come across a golf course called Latrobe Country Club Guest House, and if you feel like a little side trip, try Possum Hollow. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. A fine spot to camp here at County Reservoir is Laurel Highlands Campland; Mountain View Inn is a pleasant location | |

to get some rest. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fourmile Run, and Seven Springs is a very popular ski area close at hand. County Reservoir is not the only
place nearby, Mammoth Lake is a nearby lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hidden Valley. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do near County Reservoir. Camping at Donegal Campground is always a
good experience; you can go for a hike on the Darr Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the vicinity of County Reservoir? Saint Vincent Lake is around here, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Jacobs Creek.
County Reservoir gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February.

We did find an occasional 5 foot spot, but he weeds are right up to the surface making trolling very difficult. We fished the entire lake and used a fish finder thruout, we marked very little fish. We caught 2 largemouth, both around 9 inches. One on a white Houdini worm, one on a top water frog.... |
