A visit to Cornwall Reservoir is always a good idea. Why not have a look at Saddlers Run Dam while you're here, and going for a hike on the Blue Blazed Trail is always a wonderful adventure. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Cornwall Reservoir. There are wonderful spots to explore along the Foxs Path. There's so much to do here at Cornwall Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pinch Pond Family Campground is a tremendous location for that. in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Cornwall Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. The vista of Spring Hill
from Cornwall Reservoir is gorgeous; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Conewago Creek - East. There's whitewater on Fishing Creek - Susquehanna Tributary for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a golf course nearby
is Fairview Golf Course. Do stop at Rexmont Number Two Reservoir close to Cornwall Reservoir, it's a delightful lake, and a tremendous close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Manheim. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cornwall
Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Outdoor World; if you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Penn's Woods is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for folks from Lebanon; a pretty lake like Tailing
Pond is a great spot to check out. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Cornwall Reservoir.

 | This is a nicely maintained campground... nice showers, laundry facilities, pool, store, etc. Lots to do in the area. Downside is the noise of the Turnpike which is so close you could touch it. If you are a heavy sleeper, this is the place for you! Otherwise, try to get a site as far away from the tpk as possible... even then, you still hear the rumble but not as much.... |
