A nice nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Clarks SummitScranton, and Bull Hill is wonderful and can be seen from here. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do close to Cordner Pond. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's magnificent hiking along the Pinnacle Trail, and you'll come across a striking lake called Duck Pond. Camping is available at Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds, and do stop by Mud Pond, it's a scenic lake. The Refuge Trail offers

| | hiking at its best, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Spring Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Lackawanna River, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. Camping at How Kola Camp is always a perfect experience, and charming scenery and splendid skiing is what you obtain at Montage Mountain. with most of the rain is June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cordner Pond you can play some golf at Lakeland Golf Club, and hey, Gotta ski right? Elk Mountain is a magnificent
place to do that. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Cordner Pond reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter
nights at Cordner Pond are in the 10's. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and Smith Valley is also a delightful place to look at.
