Slumber Valley Campground is a great campground nearby, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Binghamton Front Street is a great choice. At Cope Pond you can see Dean Hill; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's always       Indian Lake Dam to have a look at in close proximity to Cope Pond; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Stone Pond. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cope Pond. Going for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes are tremendous; Indian Lake is a lake that's near Cope Pond. Throughout the summer at Cope Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's while overnight                  lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Cope Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Bowman Creek is so much fun. MTN Maples Public Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Cope Pond; you'll meet a lot of people from Binghamton here.
