The beauty of Cooling Pond is reason enough to stop by. Meadow Brook flows through this region. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by YMCA Dam near Cooling Pond, and paddling on Spring Brook is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cooling Pond; Pinnacle Trail is a brilliant local trail, and a day on the slopes of Jack Frost is just what you need. Lots of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come to Cooling Pond,
