Conewago Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The amount of precipitation that falls at Conewago Lake is close to the national average; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Cornwall Reservoir in the vicinity of Conewago Lake is a glorious spot to stop at, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Lebanon for sure.

| | If the weather is beautiful, you get a delightful sight of Conewago Hill from Conewago Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Camp Echo Trail. At Conewago Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Susquehanna River, and Conewago Lake is right by the Old Indian Trail. Whitewater paddling is good on Conewago Creek - East, and Conewago Lake is brilliant
enough to spend more than a day at, Pinch Pond Family Campground is a brilliant local campground. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Lake Duffy is a nice lake in the vicinity of Conewago Lake, and dry warm beds await you
at Red Carpet Inn Manheim.
After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Penn's Woods is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Conewago Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gretna Oaks Campground is a perfect location for that.

 | This is a nicely maintained campground... nice showers, laundry facilities, pool, store, etc. Lots to do in the area. Downside is the noise of the Turnpike which is so close you could touch it. If you are a heavy sleeper, this is the place for you! Otherwise, try to get a site as far away from the tpk as possible... even then, you still hear the rumble but not as much.... |
