While you're here at Conemaugh River Lake you can take a hike along the Brant Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Crabtree Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Summertime at Conemaugh River Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend       down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Conemaugh River Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Conemaugh Dam is a wonderful place close to Conemaugh River Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Indiana here. Conemaugh River Lake is a good place of typical rain; most of the rain falls during August while February is mostly the driest                  month. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Conemaugh River Lake has to offer. Have a great hiking adventure along the Darr Trail, and do explore Mannitto Lake, it's a beautiful lake. There's some flowing water close by, Boatyard Run is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and if you're here you can play some golf at Country Meadows Golf Course. Conemaugh River Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres Campground is a perfect local campground, and a splendid close by hotel is Comfort Inn Blairsville. This lake is so wonderful.
