Go to Conemaugh Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Conemaugh Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October is the month with the least moisture. There's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at South Fork Reservoir Dam Site in the vicinity of Conemaugh Lake, and don't leave Conemaugh Lake without first going for a hike along the John P Saylor Trail. | | spots on Paint Creek; after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - JOHNSTOWN is a great site to spend a night or two.
Go for a hike on the Lost Turkey Trail, and if you need a location to stay Sleep Inn Johnstown is a good choice. Maple Crest Golf Club is a pleasant golf course close by, and nice hiking is available along the Wolf Rocks Trail.

of Johnstown like to hang out close by. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Conemaugh Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Conemaugh River; Conemaugh Lake is magnificent enough to spend more
than a day at, Shawnee Sleepy Hollow Campground is a magnificent local campground. Summertime highs at Conemaugh Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the
highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Conemaugh Lake tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Conemaugh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Park is a good site for that, and Blue Knob is a fine local ski area.
