If you are traveling by, why not stop by Colyer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site for whitewater paddling next to Colyer Lake is Kishacoquillas Creek, and here at Colyer Lake you can see Thickhead Mountain. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Colyer Lake, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Colony Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two, and if you're going to from State College, you won't be the only one.

| | On a tremendous day at Colyer Lake you can take a hike along the Hessick Trail, and Colyer Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bob Kearns Campgrounds is a great local campground. Through the warmest time of the year here at Colyer Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Colyer Lake nighttime low temperatures | |

all through the winter are in the 10's. Best Western Nittany Inn Milroy is a brilliant location to get some rest, and the Deaf Run Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
Just can't get enough of Colyer Lake. Tussey Mountain
has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Boal Gap Run. Camping at Seven Mountains Campground is always a tremendous experience, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Elk Creek. A golf course in the vicinity of Colyer Lake is Standing Stone Golf Club; if you're here you can take a hike along the Bear Trail.
Colyer Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and you
might also want to pay a visit to Bechtol Gap if you're here at Colyer Lake. Colyer Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January.
