Colonial Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Colonial Reservoir is a good place of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Cove Beach Club and RV Resort is a great location to camp; whitewater paddling is fine on Jacobs Creek. | | Reservoir has it all. The Great Gorge Trail is a great hiking trail close to Colonial Reservoir; Colonial Dam Number Three is an interesting thing to check out.
All through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Colonial Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows at Colonial Reservoir all through the winter mostly drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. This | |

lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Rivers Edge Family Campground if you're here at Colonial Reservoir, and Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a fine spot to get some rest.
If the weather is great here at Colonial Reservoir, you
can go for a hike along the Mile Trail, and since you're here why not explore Keister Hollow. Paddling on Sewickley Creek is so much fun, and some nearby water includes Allen Run. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Duck Hollow Golf Club is nearby; a tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Uniontown,Pa.
