Colonial Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Cove Beach Club and RV Resort is a delightful local       campground; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a wonderful choice. Colonial Reservoir is a good location of typical rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little visit to Colonial Dam Number Three if you're here at Colonial Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Uniontown,Pa. Nearby lakes? Sure, Star Junction Reservoir                  is next to Colonial Reservoir; why not stop at nearby Allen Run while you're here at Colonial Reservoir. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Colonial Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Jacobs Creek near Colonial Reservoir; don't leave Colonial Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mile Trail. If you came to camp Rivers Edge Family Campground is a splendid location to do that; close by Keister Hollow is a delightful site to go. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Great Gorge Trail; Duck Hollow Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby.
