Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Pittsburgh/Monroeville. At Collins Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Collins Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Collins Lake. A great site to camp here at Collins Lake is Camp Adventure, and the       snow is splendid at Boyce Park. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine Creek, and Collins Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Rustic Acres Campground is a perfect local campground. Sewickley Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot near Collins Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsburgh here. The yearly rainfall here at Collins Lake is about average; May is the month that                  gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Humms Run is near Collins Lake and is always a joy to check out; Windyhill Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by.
