    It's always fun to stop by Cobey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Steam Mill Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Delaware River. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Cobey Pond rocks! You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cobey Pond has to offer, you can camp at Upper Delaware Campgrounds, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Schiff Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Central House Family Resort;  
   hiking along the Crawford Trail is perfect fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Forest Lake near Cobey Pond, it's a lovely lake; Point Peter is not far at all. At Cobey Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Cobey Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Really great
 
               skiing awaits you at Tanglwood; Rattlesnake Creek is next to Cobey Pond and is always a diversion to go to.
Why not check out Cobey Dam while you're here; if you come at the right time of year, Lackawaxen River offers some great whitewater. The Lodge at Woodloch is a splendid location to get some rest, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, check out Cattail Swamp if you're here at Cobey Pond. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Cobey Pond will keep you coming back time and again.
Cobey Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Cobey Pond is a nice place to camp, Lander's River Trips is a nice place; Ski Big Bear has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff.
