Why not stop by Cobb Pond if you're passing through these parts. If you're here at Cobb Pond, you could stop at Mile Brook, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Hamlin is a good choice. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Cobb Pond called the Boundary Trail; C H Mack Dam has good water scenery. Going for a hike on the White Deer Trail is always a splendid adventure.

Camping at Secluded Acres Campground is always a great experience, and after a long day outdoors Caesars Cove Haven is a great site to spend a night or two. Really great skiing awaits you at Ski Big Bear, and paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek is so much fun.

Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Near Cobb Pond you find the Brown Trail which is a good hiking trail, and if you've had enough of Cobb
Pond, Paupackan Lake is nearby. Cobb Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Mocatek Campground is a pleasant local campground, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Tanglwood.
Summer at
Cobb Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Cobb Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
