Clearview Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. A typical amount of rain falls here at Clearview Reservoir; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Burnham/Lewistown Area is a good choice; Clearview Reservoir is right by the Footbridge Trail. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.

| | Tussey Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. There's so much to do here at Clearview Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Shoop's Country Campground is a pleasant place for that. If you get bored of Clearview Reservoir, you could also pop by nearby Zooks Dam, and hiking along the Yohn Trail is perfect fun. Clearview Reservoir is not the only place close by, Minehart Reservoir is a close by lake; the Vincent Tram Trail offers | |

hiking at its best. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Elk Creek; the scenery at Licking Creek Dam is gorgeous. Throughout the days of summer at Clearview Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through
the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Clearview Reservoir are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kishacoquillas
Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Clearview Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Locust Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites; this is a popular place for folks from Lewistown.

 | 20 miles away Okay, I'm on Tussey's Junior Race Team and we spend every waking moment at Tussey, and love it. It takes exactly 7 minutes and 43 seconds to get up the lift and 4 minutes and 22 seconds to get up the t-bar (which they fixed with duct tape) Never get chair 32, the bars don't go down, and chairs 75 and 1 are lucky. If you ask nicely in the lodge, they'll warm up your cinnamon bun for you and always try the vending machine without money first, it sometimes works. Also, never use the front door to the lodge, you are guarenteed to fall oh, and the mountain can be skied in full tuck in 15.4 seconds. ... |
