Go to Clearfield Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clearfield, Pa is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Wagoner's Camping Park is a wonderful campground nearby. Good hiking is available along the Pine Springs Trail, and Montgomery Dam has great water scenery. Clearfield Reservoir is a good place of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain,

| | and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Clearfield Creek, and Laurel Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Clearfield Reservoir has it all. A round of golf at nearby Grandview Golf Course & Restaurant is a good way to kill some time; a brilliant nearby hotel is Budget Inn Clearfield. You'll meet a lot of folks from DuBois here, | |

and Clearfield Reservoir is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Curwensville Lake Recreation is a glorious site to camp nearby. During the months of summer at Clearfield Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 70's with
night lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's while Clearfield Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. There's wonderful hiking along the Quehanna Trail. While you're
here at Clearfield Reservoir, you could also take a look at wonderful Curwensville Reservoir; North Branch Montgomery Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Big Ridge Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Anderson Creek offers some nice whitewater.
