The warmest time of the year at Clearfield Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Clearfield Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Clearfield Reservoir is Anderson       Creek, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Quehanna Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Clearfield Reservoir is close to the national average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clearfield Creek. Clearfield Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Curwensville                  Lake Recreation is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clearfield, Pa is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to pop by near Clearfield Reservoir is Montgomery Dam, and Laurel Lake is a fine lake nearby. On a glorious day at Clearfield Reservoir you can take a hike along the Pine Springs Trail, and a scenic lake like Curwensville Lake is a nice spot to stop by. While you're here at Clearfield Reservoir you can take a hike along the Big Ridge Trail, and Budget Inn Clearfield is a magnificent place to get some rest. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of Clearfield Reservoir. If you came to camp Wagoner's Camping Park is a nice place to do that, and you'll meet a lot of folks from DuBois here.
