A visit to City Reservoir is always a good idea. All through the summertime months at City Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for City Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Zimmie's Campground is a glorious spot to camp, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Wolf Rocks

| | Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at City Reservoir you can take a hike along the John P Saylor Trail, and going for a hike along the Lost Turkey Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

After a long day
outdoors Comfort Inn Ebensburg is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Conemaugh River. Be careful coming to City Reservoir, you might
not ever wanna return back home again. The scenery at Howells Run Dam in close proximity to City Reservoir is gorgeous, needless to say you could also visit Pond Number One if you're here; it's not far at all.
City Reservoir typically gets much rain; July is when you get the most rain here; October meanwhile is the driest month.
