All the outdoors amusing stuff near Chippewa Lake will keep you coming back persistently. While you're here at Chippewa Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Laurel Hill Creek Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Somerset is a great place to spend a night or two. Having a splendid time at Chippewa Lake is uncomplicated. This lake       is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Spruce Run Trail, and you can stay the night at Pioneer Park Campground. There's wonderful hiking along the Brant Trail, and Hickory Hollow Camp Ground is a splendid campground nearby. For you golfers we recommend close by Middlecreek Golf Course, and let's not forget Kimmel Run which is a stream that you may come across while here. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at The Springs at Laurel Mountain                  close by; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Laurel Hill Creek. Hidden Valley has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and Hampton Inn Somerset is a good location to get some rest. Do stop at Laurel Hill Lake in the neighborhood of Chippewa Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; don't leave Chippewa Lake without first going for a hike along the Wolf Rocks Trail. Summer at Chippewa Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Chippewa Lake.
