This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Middlecreek Golf Course, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Spruce Run Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Laurel Hill Lake near Chippewa Lake, and the Brant Trail       is a delightful hiking trail nearby. The snow is brilliant at Hidden Valley, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Laurel Hill Creek. If you like skiing, you're in luck; The Springs at Laurel Mountain is close to Chippewa Lake, and if you came to camp Pioneer Park Campground is a good location to do that. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Chippewa Lake. If you need a spot to stay Somerset Super 8 Motel                  is a tremendous choice, and do take a look at Kimmel Run while you're here at Chippewa Lake. Somerset Knights Inn is a glorious location to get some rest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wolf Rocks Trail. High temperatures at Chippewa Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chippewa Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Casselman River, and you're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Somerset here. While you're here at Chippewa Lake, you could also stop at picturesque Laurel Hill Creek Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Chippewa Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Hollow Camp Ground is a good location for that.
