Here at Chicola Lake there are plenty of people from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton; if you have time to spare, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Lehigh River is a fine whitewater spot near Chicola Lake,       and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Camelback. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Mount Airy Lodge, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Wind Gap. At Chicola Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Chicola Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.                  And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Chicola Lake. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes? Sure, Princess Lake is in close proximity. A large amount of precipitation falls at Chicola Lake; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
