Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lakeside Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton here. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Chicola Lake. Lakes are brilliant; Princess Lake is a lake that's close to Chicola Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Chicola Lake a quite wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the       rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Indian Trail is pleasant fun, and Chicola Lake Dam is a beautiful location, positively worth checking out. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Chicola Lake. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Pocono Creek, and Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a very tremendous location to stop by. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday                  Inn Express Hotel & Suites BETHLEHEM, and Chicola Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Evergreen Lake Camping is a good local campground. Red Carpet Inn Wind Gap is a good place to get some rest; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Airy Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent site to camp here at Chicola Lake is Silver Valley Campsites; Lehigh River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. You're perhaps into lakes, Evergreen Lake is one of those nearby, and you can hit the slopes at Camelback close by. Sawmill Golf Course is a splendid golf course close by, and Chicola Lake is right by the Camelback Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Chicola Lake, and the overnight is a little colder of course, generally in the 50's.
