That is very interesting information, Kelly Zimmerman. My husband and I are about to buy a home on Chicola Lake. Do you have any more history?? Says MEG
My grandmother was the founder and developer of Chicola lake in the 1940's. It was a popular campground, swimming and fishing and hunting destination. They also had a small store and a trout hatchery across the street from the lake. Says Kelly Zimmerman
About 39% of the runs covering the 156 acres
of ski terrain at Blue Mountain are black and red while 61% of the runs are green and blue. Skiers like Blue Mountain; it's a fine ski hill.
