If you are in Adams county it's always a good idea to stop by Charnita Lake. Charnita Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Here at Charnita Lake there are plenty of folks from Gettysburg; wonderful hiking is available along the Green Ridge Trail. Soar down the rapids of Marsh Creek in a kayak, and a golf course nearby is Mountain View Golf Club. If you came to camp Granite Hill Campground is a good site to do that, and while you're here,

At Charnita Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Charnita Lake plunge into the 10's. the most; the driest month of the year is February. What a location this is for outdoors folks. There's perfect hiking along the High Rock Nature Trail, and camping at Gettysburg Koa Kampground is always a perfect experience.
This lake is so wonderful. Mc Ginley Hill is painless to spot from Charnita Lake, and glorious skiing awaits you at Ski Liberty. Why not explore K Section Dam while you're here, and Catoctin Mountain Park is a very great location
to visit. Don't leave Charnita Lake without first paying a visit to Fountaindale Spring, and unsurprisingly Copper Run is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Owens Creek is
so much fun, and if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice. Dry warm beds await you at Carroll Valley Resort, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Charnita Lake; Cunningham Falls Nature Trail is a pleasant local trail.
