The beauty of Charnita Lake is reason enough to stop by. Looking for a magnificent spree? Catoctin Mountain Park is rather close to Charnita Lake; do take a hike on the Green Ridge Trail. This place, Charnita Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors cool stuff. There's so much to do here at Charnita Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Granite Hill Campground is a great site for that, and a good nearby hotel is Carroll Valley Resort. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Paddling on Marsh Creek is so much fun, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, K Section Pond is one of those close by. From a rainfall point of view Charnita Lake is a relatively typical location; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake you always meet someone from Gettysburg, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Charnita Lake is Mountain View Golf
Club; some nearby water includes Copper Run. High temperatures at Charnita Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the
winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Charnita Lake tend to be in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is great on Owens Creek, and you don’t have to go far from Charnita Lake to distinguish the water at K Section
Dam. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Charnita Lake. A short tour to Fountaindale Spring is always worthwhile; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. A delightful spot close to Charnita Lake is Cove Hollow, and wonderful scenery and glorious skiing is what you obtain at Ski Liberty. Hiking along the High Rock Nature Trail is glorious fun. Lakes are fine; Emmitsburg Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Charnita Lake.
