The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Elk Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lackawanna River. Chapman Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is June; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Chapman Lake and you like golf, you can stop by Skyline Public Golf Course; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Pinnacle Trail. Just can't get enough of Chapman

Kola Camp is always a magnificent experience. So many exciting things to do at Chapman Lake, so little time. Chapman Lake is a place with many visitors from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you
can always have a look at nearby Graves Pond; there are some great whitewater spots on Spring Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Cary Mountain is easy to spot from Chapman Lake, and nearby you stumble on the Refuge Trail which is a
splendid hiking trail. Lakes are magnificent; Heart Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Chapman Lake, and going for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Days Inn Dunmore-Scranton is a delightful spot to get some rest; camping is available at Clayton Park Recreational Area.
