If you like lakes and you're in this part of Pennsylvania you can check out Chambersburg Reservoir. For the period of the warm days of summer at Chambersburg Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Chambersburg Reservoir are in the 20's. Good hiking is available along the Green Ridge Trail, and get drenched paddling on Antietam Creek

There's great hiking along the Wildcat Trail; why not head up to Ski Liberty and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Chinquapin Hill is clearly visible from Chambersburg Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you
at Rodeway Inn Shippensburg. Paddling on Conewago Creek - West is so much fun, and some of the water nearby flows, like Birch Run. All the outdoors cool things close to Chambersburg Reservoir will keep you coming back time and
again. While you're here at Chambersburg Reservoir, you could also stop by beautiful Caledonia Lake; if you're looking for a good journey, Catoctin Mountain Park is rather near. Having a perfect time at Chambersburg Reservoir is easy.
Dark Hollow is a brilliant location to stop at close by, and do check out Long Pine Run Reservoir, it's a striking lake. Birch Run Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Chambersburg Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to look
at everything Chambersburg Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Colonels Crk Campground. Go for a hike on the Lippencot Trail. From a rainfall point of view Chambersburg Reservoir is a relatively normal place; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January.
