Sure, Burgess Pond is in the neighborhood. Camping is available at Riverside Acres Campground, and there's nice hiking along the Ash Ridge Spur. Lots of folks from Sayre come to Cash Pond, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Wysox is a great place to spend a night or two. For the period of the long summer days at Cash Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's       commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Cash Pond. All the outdoors fun stuff in the neighborhood of Cash Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Camping at Mountain Lake Hotel is always a pleasant experience, and do check out Bull Run since you're here at Cash Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Sugar Creek is so much fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you                  can always stop at close by Swimming Dam. Cash Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Schrader Creek, and the High Rock Spur offers hiking at its best.
