Lakes? Sure, Lake Elsie is in the neighborhood; there's fine hiking along the Blooming Grove Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Boundary Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Camp Cayuga Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hideaway Lakes Camping. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Camp Cayuga Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Camp Cayuga Lake is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. and glide down the rapids of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary in a kayak. Summertime highs at Camp Cayuga Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the
wintertime are in the 20's while Camp Cayuga Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Head up to Ski Big Bear and strap some skis to your feet. There's so much to do here at Camp Cayuga Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Cherry Ridge Campground is a wonderful place for that. Big Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look
at close by Lake Cayuga. A splendid nearby hotel is Tanglewood (Vri), and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Honesdale Golf Club is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Camp Cayuga Lake
without first going for a hike along the White Deer Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Lackawanna River offers some good whitewater.
