Gunter Valley Reservoir

Just before crossing the spillway, South Reservoir Trailhead will lead you on a sometimes steep, rocky, sidehill trail through pine, hemlock and hardwood with views of the reservoir from time to time. It terminates on North Reservoir Trail (left) or Gunter Valley Road (right). Following North Reservoir Trail, intersect with Creedon Trail which currently is an out and back to the upper, shallow reaches of the reservoir. Continuing on North Reservoir, cross bridge over Trout Run and follow past the intersection of Turnpike Trail and eventually along a nice waterside trail (with some wet areas(seasonal) and rocky sections back to the dam breast.
