by Long Pine Run Reservoir, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Green Ridge Trail. There is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Caledonia Lake called the Sandy Ridge Trail, and naturally Clear Run flows through
this region.
If you need a place to stay Carroll Valley Resort is a great choice, and paddling on Antietam Creek - East Branch is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Cold Springs is a great local attraction, and a magnificent
site to camp here at Caledonia Lake is Colonels Crk Campground. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Caledonia Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
Why not explore
Carbaugh Run Dam while you're here, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns & Suites Fayetteville is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is lovely, you get a pleasant sight of Huckleberry
Hill from Caledonia Lake, and if you're looking for a perfect visit, Catoctin Mountain Park is reasonably near. Carbaugh Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to.
