There are pleasant places to discover along the Brown Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary offers some       great whitewater. Yeah, come here to Butler Pond for a fine time. Tanglwood has good slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Butler Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Secluded Acres Campground is a magnificent place for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Butler Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Mocatek Campground, unsurprisingly you could also visit Big Spring Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Really                  nice skiing awaits you at Ski Big Bear, and at Lake Ellyn Dam right next door to Butler Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see. Going for a hike on the Boundary Trail is always a perfect adventure, and you're sure to stumble upon some good people from East Stroudsburg here. Go for a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Hamlin is a fine place to spend a night or two. Caesars Cove Haven is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Much rainfall falls at Butler Pond; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
