Why not stop by Butler Pond if you're passing through these parts. High temperatures at Butler Pond through the summertime are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Butler Pond. This lake is so wonderful. | | great whitewater. Yeah, come here to Butler Pond for a fine time. Tanglwood has good slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Butler Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Secluded Acres Campground is a magnificent place for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Butler Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Mocatek Campground, unsurprisingly you could also visit Big Spring Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. nice skiing awaits you at Ski Big Bear, and at Lake Ellyn Dam right next door to Butler Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see. Going for a hike on the Boundary Trail is always a perfect adventure, and you're sure to
stumble upon some good people from East Stroudsburg here. Go for a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Hamlin is a fine place to spend a night or two. Caesars Cove Haven is a pleasant spot
to get some rest. Much rainfall falls at Butler Pond; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling
is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wallenpaupack Creek, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cobb Pond is just a very short distance away.
