This place, Burns Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. The White Deer Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Burns Pond, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Caesars Cove Haven. This lake is so wonderful. At White Oak Pond Dam next to Burns Pond there are some       out of the ordinary things to see. There's so much to do here at Burns Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Valleyview Farm and Campground is a great site for that. Do stop at Mud Pond in the neighborhood of Burns Pond, it's a scenic lake, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Big Bear close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Burns Pond. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the                  20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Burns Pond. Drift down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Burns Pond you locate the Blooming Grove Trail which is a great hiking trail, and get soaked paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. Mount Tone has nice slopes and a friendly staff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Burns Pond has to offer, you can camp at Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort.
