Throughout the long summer days here at Burgess Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Burgess Pond. The amount of rainfall that falls at Burgess Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one       with the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the World End Trail, and there's good hiking along the Scar Run Trail. You're probably addicted to lakes, Williams Lake is one of those nearby, and Pioneer Campground is a fine local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Schrader Creek offers some good whitewater, and don't leave Burgess Pond without first going for a hike along the High Rock Spur.
