That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Bunnells Pond has it all. Gotta ski! Ski Big Bear is a magnificent place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Tanglewood (Vri). This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Honesdale Golf Club is a glorious       way to kill some time; there's whitewater on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary for all you thrill seekers. The high level of rain makes Bunnells Pond a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is August while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site to camp here at Bunnells Pond is Ponderosa Pines Camp, and don't leave Bunnells Pond without first going for a hike along the East Branch Bruce Lake Trail.                  All through the long summer days here at Bunnells Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Bunnells Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. Very scenic scenery and great skiing is what you get at Tanglwood, and there are brilliant sites to explore along the Blooming Grove Trail. A splendid view of charming Golf Hill is available from Bunnells Pond, and if you need a spot to stay The Settlers Inn is a splendid choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Pa-420 Reservoir; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Bunnells Pond Dam.
