Buck Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lehigh River, and Buck Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lehigh Gorge Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak, and       swamps like Long Swamp are fun to explore. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Buck Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Buck Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Buck Pond rocks! Skiing at Montage Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do; you can go for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
