| | is a great place to visit for more than one day, Lehigh Gorge Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Jack Frost, and Geneceda Creek is right next door to Buck Pond and is always a joy to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Wilkes-Barre, Pa is a nice location to spend a night or two. For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Buck Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter
the highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Buck Pond. Do stop at Meadow Run Lake right next door to Buck Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and paddling on Lehigh River is so much fun. A pretty
lake like Fountain Lake close to Buck Pond is a great site to go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Pond; Refuge Trail is a delightful local trail.
