The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Big Bear, and       if you come at the right time of year, Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a great choice, and there are great spots to look at along the West Branch Bruce Lake Trail. Bruce Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Don't leave Bruce Lake without first going for a                  hike along the Bruce Lake Trail, and not far from Bruce Lake you'll find Egypt Meadow Lake which is a stunning lake. Looking for a pleasant tour? Delaware National Scenic River is rather close to Bruce Lake. Camp Watonka is a good campground nearby, and a nice close by hotel is Tanglewood (Vri). This is a popular site for folks from East Stroudsburg, and soar down the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Bruce Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Caffrey Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and do pop by Wyler Dam if you're here. High temperatures at Bruce Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Bruce Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bruce Lake.
