This lake is so wonderful. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Browns Pond. Going for a hike on the Hedgehog Trail is always a good adventure, naturally you could also check out Beaver Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of rainfall makes Browns Pond a reasonably wet place; November       is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Scranton Hollow is next to Browns Pond and is absolutely a good spot to take a look at, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Clay Pond is just a very short distance away. Penn Highlands Campgrounds is a tremendous campground nearby, and this is a popular site for people from Warren. This lake is so wonderful. Browns Pond is a wonderful location to visit for                  more than one day, Allegany is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and everyone close by loves skiing at Cockaigne. Clarion Hotel and Conference Center Downtown is a brilliant site to get some rest, and playing golf is lots of fun at Jackson Valley Golf Club. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Browns Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
