This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Downtown Jamestown is a great place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Penn Highlands Campgrounds is a glorious location to do that. Scranton Hollow is a great place to stop by close to Browns Pond, and you can hit the slopes at Cockaigne nearby. Browns Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and       the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Jackson Valley Golf Club, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Rocky Gap Trail Bike Trail. After a long day outdoors Clarion Hotel Jamestown is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Browns Pond you could also take a look at nearby Beaver Ponds. Any time is a glorious time at Browns Pond if you adore the outdoors. During your                  visit to Browns Pond you'll meet some folks from Warren for sure, and Browns Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Allegany is a perfect local campground. A lake close by is Clay Pond, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Hedgehog Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Browns Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
