All through the summer at Browns Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's while Browns Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Coach Stop Inn is a tremendous choice, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Sawmill.       This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. An afternoon playing golf at Tyoga Country Club is always a joy; get covered with water paddling on Stony Fork Creek. Camping at Canyon Country Campground is always a fine experience, and going for a hike on the Pine Trail is always a good adventure. Take a look at close by Middle Ridge Swamp, and if you came to camp Stony Fork Creek Campground is a magnificent location to do that. Paddling on Pine                  Creek is so much fun, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the West Branch Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Great Valley Motel, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Dillon Trail. Browns Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
