This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Lake Tomico close to Browns Lake is a glorious location to stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Laura Trail. There's so much to do here at Browns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Rock Campsite is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing,       you're in luck; Alpine Mountain is in the neighborhood of Browns Lake, and there's delightful hiking along the Burley Inlet Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Browns Lake. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Lake Lenape near Browns Lake, and the skiing at Mount Airy Lodge is pleasant. If you come at the right time of year, Paradise Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and on a great day you can take a look at Bloomer Swamp, a swamp                  near Browns Lake. During the summer here at Browns Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Browns Lake tend to be in the 10's. From a rain point of view Browns Lake is a reasonably normal location; the month with most of the rain is May; February is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Browns Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Browns Lake Dam, and the Snow Shanty Trail offers hiking at its best. A splendid place near Browns Lake is Deep Hollow, and if you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. If you're visiting Browns Lake from East Stroudsburg, you won't be the only one, and Skytop Lodge is a great site to get some rest.
