What a nice lake Brown Pond is. High temperatures at Brown Pond during the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Brown Pond sink into the 10's. Brown Pond is right by the Old Bulldozer Road Trail, and a great close by hotel is Lovelton Hotel. Brown Pond in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors

If you came for an overnight stay Slumber Valley Campground is a nice place to camp, and Quicks Bend is a great location to stop by while in the area. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Meshoppen Creek; Maplehurst Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest. here, and the driest month of the year is January. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mehoopany Creek, and Little Tuscarora Creek is near Brown Pond and is always a delight to stop at.
