This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Brookville Reservoir you can take a hike along the Silvis Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Brookville Reservoir. A lake close by is Reynoldsville Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brookville Reservoir has to offer, you can       camp at Clear Creek State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Fivemile Run, and if you get bored of Brookville Reservoir you could also go to close by Truman Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Brookville Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's; overnight lows at Brookville Reservoir during the winter generally sink into the 10's. There is a good hiking trail right                  next door to Brookville Reservoir called the Oak Ridge Trail, and Brookville Waterworks Dam has magnificent water scenery. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarion River, and if you need a spot to stay Travelodge Brookville is a brilliant choice. Brookville Reservoir mostly gets a large amount of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
