For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Bridgeport Reservoir, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Bridgeport Reservoir night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. or two, and Bridgeport Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Den Acres Campgrounds is a great local campground. Very stunning scenery and great skiing is what you get at Hidden Valley; Pa-656 Reservoir is a nearby
lake that you could explore. Greenlick Run Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and hey, Gotta ski right? Seven Springs is a tremendous site to do that. Brush Run is a nice place to take a look at, and there are nice
locations to look at along the Great Gorge Trail. There's whitewater on Jacobs Creek for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Bridgeport Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mile Trail; get
your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Indian Creek. A normal amount of rain falls here at Bridgeport Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

 | 15 miles away We spent the whole day fishing CGL on 7/27/08, this was my first visit. The lake is only an average of 4 FEET DEEP! We did find an occasional 5 foot spot, but he weeds are right up to the surface making trolling very difficult. We fished the entire lake and used a fish finder thruout, we marked very little fish.
