Donne Lake Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Loyalhanna Creek for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Breskin Pond called the Wolf Rocks Trail, and the skiing at Seven Springs is perfect. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Breskin Pond, and throughout       summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Breskin Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. On a brilliant day at Breskin Pond you can take a hike along the Darr Trail; everybody nearby loves skiing at Hidden Valley. A great close by hotel is Ramada Inn At Historic Ligonier, and why not a little side trip to Campbelle Run. The annual rain here at Breskin Pond is about average; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do close to Breskin Pond. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Fourmile Run, and playing golf is lots of fun at Ligonier Country Club. This lake is so wonderful.
