You'll need more than a day to explore everything Boulder Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dutch Cousin Campsite. Through the summertime months at Boulder Lake highs are generally in the 80's. not go to Boulder Lake Dam if you're here. There's so much to do here at Boulder Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hickory Run Family Camping Resort is a glorious site for that. Boulder Lake gets a large amount of water;
the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest.
An afternoon playing golf at Galen Hall Golf & Country Club is always a joy, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Denver is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
