Bolivar Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Forbes Trail Camp is a fine local campground, and you'll discover a stunning lake called Griff Lake. Much rainfall falls at Bolivar Reservoir; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is a popular place for people from Indiana, and why not take a refreshing hike along       the East End Trail. Do go to Mirror Lake next to Bolivar Reservoir, it's a charming lake, and the Brant Trail offers hiking at its best. Everybody close by loves skiing at Hidden Valley, and a golf course close by is Chestnut Ridge Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bolivar Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mirror Lake Resort is a nice place for that; whitewater paddling is delightful on Tubmill Creek.                  Looking for some flowing water? Try Freeman Run, and a great close by hotel is Ramada Inn At Historic Ligonier. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Bolivar Reservoir will keep you coming back repeatedly. The skiing at The Springs at Laurel Mountain is splendid, and paddling on Blacklick Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bolivar Reservoir; Darr Trail is a glorious local trail, and Bolivar Reservoir is next to Bear Pond Hollow which is beyond doubt worth visiting. Summertime highs at Bolivar Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder of course, typically in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bolivar Reservoir are in the 10's. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Bolivar Reservoir is great!
