This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Towanda, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Loyalsock Creek.
Getting to Bowman Creek from Bob Kosts Pond is trouble-free, and Bob Kosts Pond is
 
   a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Rocky Valley Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Don't leave Bob Kosts Pond without first going for a hike along the Rock Run Trail, and a lovely lake like Beaver Pond is a tremendous place to visit. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Bob Kosts Pond; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here,  
               and the driest of the months is January.
There are tremendous sites to discover along the Irish Settlement Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bob Kosts Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pioneer Campground. Good hiking is available along the Pole Bridge Trail, and Loyalsock Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. This stretch described above is inside the Ricketts Glen State Park. It is in a natural area and no boating,swimming,fishing or any other active is allowed in the stream (Kitchen Creek). We hiked around Hunters Lake in November.  It was a rainy weekend and some of the trail was very wet but it was a flat, easy hike and the soggy ground was not hazardous.  Parking is on the opposite side of Brunnerdale from the lake.  Follow the gold blazes to hike around the lake.  They begin on your left after crossing the dam. The last mile of the hike is actually on Brunnerdale Road.  Not sure why the trail doesn't continue lakeside.  Good family outing....
