Bluegill Pond is a lake worth visiting. You clearly have to like Bluegill Pond. Take a side journey to Deadman Run, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bluegill Pond; Mile Trail is a pleasant local trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Seven Springs while you're here, and there are other spots here than Bluegill Pond, for example Surprise Lake.

Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Uniontown, and you can run the rapids of Beaver Creek.

and overnight lows at Bluegill Pond throughout the winter usually descend into the 10's. There's whitewater on Meadow Run for all you adrenaline junkies, and there's nice hiking along the Great Gorge Trail. Bluegill Pond regularly
gets lots of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February.
Why not camp at Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins since you're here at Bluegill Pond, and Lake George Dam is a location that is right next door to Bluegill Pond.
