Blue Mountain Lake is a nice lake to visit. Head up to Alpine Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Dry warm beds await you at Shannon Inn, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Pocohontas Lake. The snow is good at Shawnee Mountain; if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Evergreen Golf Club.

| | the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Blue Mountain Lake called the Indian Trail, and Blue Mountain Lake is a nice place to camp, Mountain Vista Campground is a nice place. If you need a place to stay Paramount Motel is a good choice; camping at Blue Mountain Lake is splendid fun, Cranberry Run Campground is a splendid local campground.

Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in close proximity to Blue Mountain Lake. Going for a hike on the Camelback Trail is always a fine adventure, and Brodhead Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is
so wonderful. Michael Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting, and if you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Blue
Mountain Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; overnight lows in the 10's for Blue Mountain Lake.
Paddling on Pocono Creek is so much fun,
and you can go for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Blue Mountain Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg It's always good to take a look at Clarke Falls. Why not visit Blue Mountain Lake Dam if you're here, and a magnificent site is Centerfield Coral Reef.
